Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the Business Intelligence Manager, the Business Intelligence Specialist will be in contact with each department to find out their needs and adapt statistics accordingly.

The role will provide useful Dashboards for the Business follow-up and maintain/improve answer time, according to priorities of requests.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the BI department in the different activities (realization, training, documentation) of the different local and global projects
  • Provide automated reports based on internal customer needs
  • Reconcile and validate with other departments and with the ERP team in order to ensure reliability of the statistics figures
  • Develop automation processes to support operational departments and ad-hoc reporting for special business needs
  • Act as a consultant to support business initiatives
  • Become an actor on projects, supporting the business and its needs
  • Follow tickets evolution
  • Manage User Management on BI, reporting issues in respect of IT standards
  • Analyze business requirements
  • Transform requirements into effective technical documentation
  • Interact with back-end team to address front-end tools need
  • Develop reports and test results
  • Move new implementation from the test environment into production
  • Support users in the go-live phase

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in the Business Intelligence field
  • Experience in the SQL Language and PL-SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of Microstrategy and PowerBI tools
  • Microstrategy and PowerBI certifications would be a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud environments is a plus
  • Experience in Oracle Data Integrator would be an asset
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong delivery focus and organizational/project management skills to coordinate and deliver plans to agreed timescales
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to think creatively and determine ways to overcome challenges when completing tasks
  • Fluent in English
