Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role focus is to provide support for the buying team and to support the smooth running of the buying cycle, working closely with the Outlet Buying team. The role involves working with other departments, so requires good communication & organizational skills.


CORE JOBS RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Maintenance

  • Provide essential support to the buying team to ensure the function runs smoothly
  • Day to day administrative support: Po issuing/Dc arrival check of special production styles...
  • Management of excel price list and orders files related to special production
  • Management of critical path file
  • Weekly sales reporting files review and maintenance
  • Create and update item database information, ensuring all details are kept up to date and correct

Sample Management

  • Assist with the collecting of samples and product information for future planning, weekly meetings, project team meetings and range presentations
  • Manage samples and build a sample library
  • Take high resolution pics of samples for reporting, visual and merchandising tools

Communication

  • Communication with logistics/purchasing and pricing dept.
  • Communication with EU/US factory team to collect all needed info to ensure a correct buying process
  • Other administrative duties including liaising with other internal departments and dealing with any retail related enquiries.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (outlook/MS Word and Excel).
  • Previous experience as a Buying intern would be highly desirable
  • Professional and logical approach to problem solving
  • Flexibility in approach to work
  • Good enthusiasm to grow and work as part of the team
  • To show a willingness to learn and self-develop
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines in an efficient manner
  • Good Numeric skill set
