Reporting to the Guess Europe’s CSR&Sustainability Senior Manager, with dotted line reporting to the Guess Inc’s
Director, Corporate Sustainability and working collaboratively across the organization, the candidate will support
internal and external CSR&Sustainability engagement and related communication, including developing content,
training, tracking metrics, gathering quantitative and qualitative data, evaluating impacts and outcomes and
supporting the development of a sustainability mindset and culture throughout the organization.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires an experienced and detail-oriented CSR&Sustainability professional who can function with
diverse stakeholders and manage through influence across depts and functions. This position also requires an
individual passionate about fashion, CSR, sustainability and who can operate with a sense of urgency and a
consistent awareness of deadlines and results.

  • Deliver/execute the strategic plans and programming, often working across functions and groups to build consensus and approvals, and to broaden the awareness of the Sustainability activities within the company.
  • Support the development of sustainability contents and communications, providing counsel and support to internal teams in this function;
  • Maintain competitively and industry benchmarking, and track innovative approaches to CSR&Sustainability reporting, including collection and publication of metrics, proof-points and narrative content;
  • Serve as subject matter expert on third party reporting guidance including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting and Standards Board (SASB), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) as well as global frameworks standards such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and International Labor Organization guidelines;
  • Activate internal stakeholders to support and deliver key CSR&Sustainability initiatives, trainings, and programs, providing briefings and guidance to deliver project results, liaising with colleagues across the business to extend awareness and reach of Guess CSR&Sustainability strategy;
  • Support CSR&Sustainability team in coordinating and building relations with both internal and external stakeholders, including service providers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and internal working groups to drive CSR&Sustainability initiatives;
  • Support management of Guess CSR&Sustainability (environmental, social, governance) communications strategy including storytelling, reputation management and messaging, themes and initiatives to support and increase awareness and engagement of customers and stakeholders;
  • Employ strong multi-tasking and organization skills, along with the ability to get things done through leadership and informal influence without authority;
  • All other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience in CSR&Sustainability roles, preferably in the global fashion industry;
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in social sciences, business, sustainability or communication or another related area;
  • Experience engaging internal and external stakeholders on CSR&Sustainability;
  • Expertise in Human Rights and Supply Chain due diligence is preferred;
  • Fluent in both oral and written English;
  • Passionate about CSR&Sustainability, with a positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
