Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Customer Service Specialist Jewellery is responsible for executing and coordinating customer service activities in the wholesale French market, in order to provide Guess partners with all necessary tools and information to perform their daily tasks.

He/she could also assist customer service activities for other markets.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales campaign:

  • Samples: Order supervision, shipment follow-up
  • Communication: Pricelist
  • Managing and monitoring daily incoming orders;
  • Checking of order notes, typologies, delivery terms, invoicing data and destinations;
  • Setting new customers’ data, checking reliability with Credit DPT and Sales Team;
  • Updating existing customers master database;
  • Supporting the sales team in case of issues with digital platforms;

Post sales campaign:

  • Send order confirmations;
  • Managing shipments for assigned clients (i.e. prebolle, proforma invoice);
  • Managing master instructions in order to satisfy customer special requirements (i.e. special handling, labeling; particular documents layout, pick-up or delivery booking instructions) interacting with all company areas involved;
  • Dealing with all the procedures in order to solve claims, return and replacement request and credit notes;
  • Reorders: verify payment terms, commercial conditions, release good for shipments and follow the delivery flow;
  • Guarantee a fluent shipping activity also for POP materials (i.e. window display, catalogues, special event kits, shopping bags, ect.)
  • Provide invoices, packing list, and pick up details to the customers
  • Prepare orders/shipments reports for agencies;
  • Monitoring credit and blocks status;
  • Interface with other offices such as sales, finance, credit, logistics, marketing, IT, retail, pricing;
  • Maintenance of front and back-end systems for the jewellery line;

Requirements

  • Experience: at least 3 years’ experience in similar field
  • AS400 or Stealth experience is mandatory
  • Education: University Degree
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken French and English is mandatory. Any other European language is considered as a plus
  • PC Skills: expert in Excel, strong experience in using analytical systems
  • Proactively works towards set goals and has a problem solving mind-set
  • Excellent execution, high respect of deadlines and strong organizational skills
  • Open minded and a good team player, ability to manage stressful situations
