Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Identify and develop a complete Reporting System able to support the volume forecasting, the Receiving-Picking-Packing-Shipping Planning, the Warehouse labor force, and the Distribution workload.

The role is responsible to run KPI on Distribution and Logistic (Service and Costs) and analysis to prevent deviation from standards & objectives and to identify all the opportunities to improve the Distribution and Logistic results.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run the analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and support the Team to identify Projects or Process Improvements activities.
  • Support the Logistic Team to measure KPI’s and to identify any delay or deviation from the planning.
  • Controls the Monthly invoice from 3PL’s to ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Provide to internal and external Partners all the Dashboard to drive and manage monthly results
  • Support the implementation of the ‘Quick Win’ Projects providing data and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Support the startup of new Distribution Services and Carriers in all market, focusing and assuring performance and transit time
  • Run Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting/Dashboard and distribute internally and externally.
  • Run Analysis and Controls on Distribution Costs
  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Accrual activities
  • Interface with Logistic colleagues and other Team to support the Operation
  • Supplies Management

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s economics degree
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1 minimum). Any other language will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and capability to create Dashboard and Reporting Tool
  • Knowledge of As400 or JDA
  • Knowledge of Microstrategy or Monitor Reporting System
  • Good knowledge of the main Web Portal tool for the main Express Couriers
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role and field
  • Maturated experience in dealing with a transportation company with strong attitude and firmness
  • Well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines, and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Good team attitude
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good judgment, proven responsibility, and strong analytical skills.
  • Capability to work under strict, short deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers
