Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the E-Commerce Buying & Merchandising Manager, the E-Commerce Buying & Merchandising Assistant – Maternity leave, will support the buying & merchandising process for Guess E-Commerce department.

He/she will assist the colleagues in selecting product assortments for Guess website, driving assortment and SKU productivity to achieve the financial goals.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES *

BUYING and ALLOCATION

  • Assistance in the B2C Ecommerce selection for Website and Marketplaces;
  • Cooperation with Planning and Allocation teams to finalize the E-Comm. orders respecting the seasonal budget;
  • Cooperation with Planning and Allocation teams in order to ensure the inventory level depending on the seasonal budget;
  • Insertion of sales and purchase orders in AS400;
  • Update of books with changes and cancelations;

MERCHANDISING

  • Cooperation with Web-Marketing Team to define the best product positioning strategies in PLP based on KPIs (BR, CTR, visits, etc.); and update of product sorting;
  • Cooperation in product categorization in back office system;
  • Cooperation in defining product and trend pushes for E-commerce Communications Calendar, both for DEMs and HP;
  • Management of style activation in the website;
  • Follow up to Customer service enquiries relevant to product information and availability;
  • Follow up to general enquiries from divisions and suppliers;
  • Support in Ecommerce Markdown price list creation matching Retail Markdown list and Ecommerce only products;

ANALYTIC

  • Sales analysis for buying;
  • Best and Worst sellers weekly reports;
  • ST% and sales performances ad hoc reports;

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Marketing or Economics degree is considered a plus;
  • At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role;
  • Office package knowledge, well skilled in Excel;
  • Proficient knowledge of English language – both written and spoken. Any additional language is a plus;
  • Be cooperative, flexible and teammate;
  • Be precise and respect deadlines;
  • Passionate about fashion.
