Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The E-COMMERCE HTML & CSS INTERN will report and co-work with the E-Commerce UX Design & Ops. Supervisor during the creation of guess.eu pages in terms of front-end structure. He is daily in touch with other Ecommerce teams to create the best synergies in terms of creation of digital contents, always aiming to the creation and maintenance of best in class shopping experience and design.

The E-COMMERCE HTML & CSS INTERN will create/translate (based the translated text provided), high fidelity, full responsive and cross browser code based on the mockup provided.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Turning mockups of homepages, landing pages and banners in full responsive and cross-browser/devices code
  • Testing of code created in common devices and browser
  • Create and edit emails template for transactional email
  • Monitoring the website, fix and improve frontend code
  • Monitoring the tasks and bug in JIRA to make sure that everything works as expected

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Excellent knowledge and use of:
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
  • Good knowledge of:
    • JAVASCRIPT
    • CSV/XML/JSON
    • English Language
  • Expertise in Salesforce Platform will be a plus
  • Well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good judgment, proven responsibility and strong analytical skills.
  • Capability to work under strict, short deadlines
  • Able to communicate and co-operate within the department
  • Excellent team working and communication skills
  • Open-minded towards a multicultural environment
  • Fluent English. Any other language will be considered a plus.
  • Portfolio will be a plus if available
