Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the ERP Manager, the Analyst Programmer (ERP Specialist) will be responsible for the ordinary management of the application program, acting in observance of procedures and guidelines.

The role will contribute to the definition of technical specifications in order to find new solutions and improvements.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new and support existing functionality in the company ERP system (Stealth/400).
  • Perform full lifecycle implementation, including requirements gathering, analysis, system design, coding, unit and integration testing.
  • Collaborate in redesign, simplification and improvement of the processes.
  • Work with end-users and business analysts to determine requirements and new implementations.
  • Provide a 2nd-level help desk, being a point of contact for users and analyzing recurrent problems in order to find definitive solutions
  • Provide integration with other System components.
  • Collaborate in the creation and updating of the documentation related to usage and maintenance of the application program

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Motivated self-starting professional with high integrity and self-confidence.
  • Experienced in working with complex systems in various environments.
  • Expert Knowledge in developing applications using RPG III, RPG/ILE, SQL/400.
  • Knowledge of IBM AS/400 system and DB2
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of Java, Javascript, C# is a plus
  • Experience in a fashion company is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience with Stealth AS/400 is a plus
