PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the Quality & Compliance Manager, the European Packaging Tax Compliance Specialist will deal with all the activities related to packaging tax management for the EMEA region of Guess Europe.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Countries that already require payment of packaging taxes:

• Prepare the necessary reports for calculating the taxes to be paid.

• Filing of required reports

• Payment of packaging taxes

Countries introducing the payment of taxes on packaging:

• Study local regulations

• Find local consultants to support this activity.

• Interface with the logistics - product - IT departments to implement the required information flow.

REQUIREMENTS

- High school diploma or university degree

- Good knowledge of business processes and system processes

- Ability to organize and manage complex jobs

- Skills in managing interpersonal relationships

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and data management

- Well organized and detail oriented

- Able to work with other departments

- Fluently spoken and written English language
