Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the Global Director Kids, the Global Junior Brand & Operations Support Kids will provide sales leadership and execute strategic distributive plan for the Guess Kids brand in Europe, Asia and Americas. He/she will advise central and local sales organizations for proper distribution, ensuring consistency between WHL and property (RTL/B2C) distribution through a continuous monitoring of the different merchandising.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the Kids global project (Region 1, 2 & 3):

  • Support the head of the project in developing and executing commercial strategies:
  • Provide specific product / pricing feedbacks to the business unit
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies with our sales staff / partners on the field
  • Provide relevant product merchandising recommendations
  • Develop consistent business plans to grow the line
  • Review the B2B and RTL editing in order to ensure consistency across all the channels

Interaction with Region 1, 2 & 3:

  • Cooperate with the Global Director Kids in the sales strategy development
  • Be a liaison between Guess HQ and the Guess Partners to guarantee the efficient flow of information
  • Cooperate with the Global Director Kids in the brand plan development. Overview that all the different needs coming from different Regions are met inside the Brand Plan (this is including product strategy, SKU plan & grids by product category, price range, deliveries and distribution channels)
  • Support the head of the project in collecting relevant customer needs/pricing feedbacks to improve service level and transfer them to the business unit
  • Analyze sales reports regularly with the aim to capture the best practices and to steer the not performing arguments
  • Support/Train his/her specific regions to guarantee that the countries/partners have the required know-how to properly promote and commercialize the collection and/or any other product projects in order to achieve successful business results
  • Understand what motivates our customers and what could cause them to choose Guess over our competitors’ brands (constant benchmarking on the given specific Regions)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar role and field
  • Strong experience in using planning and analytical systems
  • Deep understanding of multi-brand business environment
  • General knowledge of Guess product offers (with a focus on Kids line)
  • Well organized and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and committed to the job assigned
  • Proactively works toward set goals and has a problem solving mind-set
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and follow-up
  • Good judgment, proven responsibility skills and critical think
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to complex business situations and with a strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and calendars
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external players

  • Availability to travel
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian are essential for this role. Any other European language would be considered a plus
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, any other is considered as a plus)
