Posizione

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Graphic Designer Active, Swim & Underwear Woman will support the development of all graphic design activities for the Woman Underwear Lines (Underwear, Beachwear, Activewear and Loungewear).
The role will also support the presentations of the line to merchants and sales teams in adoption and proto reviews.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Seasonal graphic design/style activities for Active, Swim & Underwear collections
  • Realization of technical sheets, graphics, season books and drawings
  • Samples and production checks and fitting sessions in office and at suppliers’ factories
  • Trends, fabrics and details research (internet, fairs, trips, etc..)
  • Exhibitions, fashion show, technical presentations and lookbooks
  • Moodboards and colour charts
  • Visual team support
  • Visit manufacturers or trade shows to get fabric samples
  • Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, or style for each garment or accessory
  • Work with the Design team and provide comments and notes for all fittings concerning graphic tee bodies as well as advise graphic placement

Requisiti

  • Extensive knowledge about product, style and graphics
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Fashion and/or Graphic Arts
  • Previous experience (at least 2 or 3 years) in the same role and field (Active, Swim and/or Underwear, especially womenswear)
  • Fluent English
  • Good knowledge of computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint are mandatories
  • Extensive computer experience including but not limited to Microsoft (Model Form, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop…)
  • Strong attitude and understanding of fashion product, style and graphic trends
  • Highly creative with a clear understanding of the Guess Brand DNA
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and design calendar
  • Detail oriented/innovative traits are necessary with strong attention to authentic details
