Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under the guidance of the Infrastructure Director, the Infrastructure Security Specialist is responsible for effective installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT Security solutions in collaboration with Network, Systems, DB, HD, and Cybersecurity Teams.

The resource participates in technical research, development, and adoption of cyber security best practices to enable continuing innovation and improvement of the cybersecurity posture within the whole IT Infrastructure.

The Infrastructure Security Specialist ensures that hardware, operating systems, software, and related processes and procedures adhere to organizational security standards.

The resource works in strict synergy with the CISO and the Cybersecurity Team to ensure consistency of security configurations and processes with the Corporate Cybersecurity Program.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engineering of Security Infrastructure-related solutions for running systems, projects, and operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain installations, configurations, procedures, and contribute to adopt and improve Infrastructures Security Standards.
  • Research and recommend innovative and efficient approaches for system administration tasks that can leverage resources and provide economies of scale and global solutions.
  • Perform regular Security monitoring and interact with the SOC
  • Actively takes part in the Vulnerability Management and Patching process coordinating the application of Security patches and upgrades on a regular basis
  • Perform security troubleshooting and investigations
  • Plays an active role in the Incident Response Team
  • Provide Tier III support to various stakeholders
  • Repair and recover hardware or software failures.
  • Perform periodic system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as Information Security Analyst or System Administrator with hands-on in Active Directory, firewalls and network appliances, vulnerability assessments, patching and incident handling.
  • Security technology including Azure, IIS, XDR, firewall and WAF, log monitoring and other information protection technologies.
  • Security concepts including network segmentation, DMZ, PAM, MFA, SSO; tiered architecture, cryptography, vulnerability management, incident handling.
  • Strong background of Active Directory, PowerShell and networking are required
  • Good knowledge of GNU/Linux and scripting languages is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications in the security and technical fields (e.g. CEH, OSCP, GIAC, GCSA, AZ-500, VCP) are a plus.
