Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Reporting directly to the Market & Strategy Analyst Manager, the Junior Market & Strategy Analyst will provide key stakeholders with insightful reports and ad hoc analysis on market trends, consumer dynamics and competitive activities, in order to monitor Guess and competitors’ brands performance and highlight business opportunities and challenges.

 

 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible of all sales analysis and statistics on a commercial point of view (Market analysis/ Sales analysis / Comp analysis / Dept. stores and Key Accounts analysis).
  • Overview and collaborate in the creation of the Long Range Plan, the Operating Plan and the Commercial Budget; monitor them in order to be aligned during each sales Campaign.
  • Responsible to collect all the budgets by agency/customer or Partner/Store from Wholesale Directors Team: monitor constantly the trend compared to the Commercial Budget, LRP Expectations and Financial bottom Line.
  • Daily monitor the market producing standard reports, and highlight issues on standard KPI’s to the manager and Wholesale Directors Team: present analysis and results by highlighting key points, issues, risks, opportunities, providing evaluations and recommendations.
  • Monitor constantly the budgeting process from the data collect to the comparison with Sell-In.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis upon specific requests.
  • Overview Sales debriefing meeting (after sales meetings inside the countries);
  • TXT (Demand Planning Tool) – control of the budgeting process at customer level; weekly follow up of sell-in performances with input of Closing Estimates; maintenance of correct data inside the tool.
  • Develop Sell-Out Analysis on wholesale key customers (EDI Projects); provide sell-out analysis on licensing stores by area and by product.
  • In charge of collecting budgets and trend analysis for a specific business Unit.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably economic).
  • Minimum experience of 2 years of sales analysis.
  • Good English, written and spoken.
  • Rapid adaptability to new problem-solving.
  • Very strong Excel/Access/PowerPoint skills, experience with business intelligence software such as Micro Strategy, IT general capability.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure while managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, strong multi-task skills, ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
