Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the Pricing & Project Manager, the Junior Pricing Analyst will support the developing, the maintenance and the communication of wholesale and retail prices across apparel lines. He/she will also contribute to the overall company pricing strategy by monitoring and analyzing price architectures all over the countries across all business lines (accessories & apparel).


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and regularly maintain wholesale and retail price lists for all product lines, both full price and Outlet
  • Develop, review and communicate price lists changes across all relevant departments
  • Support the Pricing Manager in designing and maintain the process together with MIS and other key company departments
  • Work with Retail and product BUs to ensure pricing alignment and consistency across categories / departments
  • Repeated follow up to ensure pricelists are set up promptly and accurately and to ensure deadlines are met
  • Create a Manual on Price Management and Price adoption for Guess Europe
  • Create and maintain analysis on any pricing-relevant aspect and on pricelists margin
  • Support all department/branches on any pricing related issue

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in retail, sales, operations with exposure to pricing processes/methodologies
  • Understanding of both retail and wholesale business models
  • Well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good judgment, proven responsibility and strong analytical skills.
  • Capability to work under strict, short deadlines
  • Understanding of pricing concepts such us price architecture, price positioning, price elasticity, price and margin impacts
  • General knowledge of Guess product offer across different lines will be considered a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Fluent English. Any other language will be considered a plus.
  • Proficient with MS-Office programs, especially Excel
