Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB


The purpose of the Job is to provide legal assistance to various areas of the business, compliance and corporate activities.

Main focus will be contracts, reporting and collaboration on special projects of legal nature.

The resource is ready to start to operate as an in-house generalist counsel hence ability to learn fast, agile thinking, flexibility, curiosity and pro-active approach are all key competences for this role.

The scope of work is territorially focused in Switzerland and Europe, with possible exposure to other areas such as (Middle East or Asia).


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES


  • Assist members of the legal team in day-to-day activities, including legal research, document review, Lease and store portfolio support and preparation of legal reports.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences with the legal team to discuss cases, legal issues, and legal strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of legal documentation, contracts, agreements, and other related documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company to provide legal advice on relevant issues.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in law. Swiss lawyers will be a plus, but not mandatory
  • No relevant work experience in the legal and compliance areas.
  • Good written and spoken English. Any other language will be considered a plus.
  • Good judgment, proven responsibility and strong analytical skills.
  • Must possess capability of working in team, be well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines, flexible and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills with both internal and external
  • Good User of MS Office Package
