Position

JOB PURPOSE

The job purpose is to ensure accounting is aligned among the Guess Europe systems and the 3PL’s and to support the implementation of process improvement to reduce Units Costs and increase productivity.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports to ensure key areas of the stock system are under control and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
  • Support in managing control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
  • The job responsibilities are to help managing accounting discrepancies and to assess the Inventory together with the Finance dept. weekly and monthly.
  • Support the Internal Audit dept. by sharing warehouse documentation and stock evaluation.
  • Support the Corporate Social Responsibility dept. by sharing data related to warehouse consumption (this data is then used in the Guess Sustainability Report).
  • Support in Organizing the yearly Stock Count in the Distribution Center in conjunction with external auditors.
  • Support in Producing specific monitoring for key clients so that they can ensure a smooth and timely inbound and outbound process.
  • Help in Monitoring and evaluate current processes and promote continuous improvement.
  • Support in Supervising all activities related to the destruction/recycling of products both internally and in conjunction with the third parties.

ACTIVITIES

  • Help to Accomplish and perform all the activities mandatory for the Period Close on a monthly basis.
  • Help to Cooperate within the Logistic dep. to ensure the compliance of all activities with a focus on non-standard procedures.
  • Support the E-Commerce dep. with stock reconciliation and monitor for item discrepancies (i.e. missing pcs)
  • Help to Produce written guidelines and procedures concerning the main logistic process.
  • Help to Control and maintain ERP data tables to ensure integrity and accuracy of stock and flows.
  • Cooperate with IT department and logistic provider for the improvements of processes and development of new flows.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Econimics or Engineering areas.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1 minimum). Any other language will be considered a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of As400 or JDA
  • Well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Good team attitude
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good judgment, proven responsibility and strong analytical skills
  • Capability to work under strict, short deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers
