PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Licensing Business Specialist must think about all aspects of the company’s products: pricing, marketing, developing strategic partnerships with licensees and countries based on business opportunities.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist and support the Licensing Dept. in all required daily activities
• Ensure frequent and clear communication cross departments
• Monitor the uniformity of EMEA / international Brand image ensuring consistency with Brand Awareness
• Monitor major competitors and best player
• Market knowledge through visits in Guess Stores and competitors
• Identify market opportunities in every country
• Visits reports & minutes meeting
• Samples managements for all the internal or external activities (Line opening, catalogues, video product, video training, workshops)
• IP protection and Archive
• Monitor licensees VM & display conforming to the brand standard
• Analysis & development of business strategy according to market opportunity

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Fashion Business or Fashion Management
• 4-5 years experience in the same role and field

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external players

• Passion and attitude in fashion field

• International experience is a plus
• Flexible with the ability to adapt to complex business situations and with a strong sense of urgency
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian are essential for this role.
• Any other European language would be considered a plus
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint + Adobe Suite)
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and follow-up
• Availability to travel frequently
