Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the VP of Retail Buying, the PRODUCT ANALYST will provide reports and analysis to identify all the new opportunities useful to enhance and elevate the BRAND product assortment and perception, as well as to contribute in increasing in stores sales.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement and execute the activities useful to achieve the strategic targets of the division Retail Buying, supporting all departments involved with concrete actions.


ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE MARKET

  • Markets and consumers quarterly research and analysis
  • Competitors quarterly benchmarking research and analysis
  • Pricing quarterly research, analysis and benchmarking with Guess
  • Reports and feedback preparation and sharing with the buying team

ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE BUYING DEPARTMENT

  • Sell-in / Sell-out analysis with focus on best-worst sellers
  • Swot analysis per line and product category
  • Analysis and identification of key potential best sellers and/or Carry Over
  • Constant interaction and support to the buying team to support
  • Overview of the product assortment within the Guess brand (across lines and categories)
  • Stores KPIs and product analysis by country
  • Periodical in-store visits

Requirements

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in the role.
  • Knowledge of the Fashion Industry
  • Excellent Office Package knowledge (especially excel).
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactivity.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Handling of requests in a professional and diplomatic way.
  • High levels of self-management, flexibility, reactivity and adaptability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with any group at all level.
  • Fluent English both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel.
