Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting directly to the Real Estate Supervisor, the Real Estate Intern will assist and support the developing of all Retail Real Estate and Store Development activities, helping in providing support and solutions to ensure the efficiency of Retail Store Portfolio in Europe (both FSS and Outlets).

The role will assist the implementation and execution of a variety of processes and procedures in collaboration with the subsidiaries and corporate departments.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support retail development projects with new stores business plans and ad hoc analysis
  • Compile and manage the lease portfolio management software, ensuring the accuracy of the data
  • Build the retail rent conditions database used to monitor rent costs and forecast opex
  • Prepare written materials for presentations and business memorandums
  • Review leases and prepare abstracts of key business terms
  • Prepare written materials for presentations and business memorandums
  • R&M cost tracking for new suppliers by country
  • Wishlist tracking by country
  • Capex cost tracking bidding database
  • Conduct research to contribute to competitor and new market analysis to assist in strategy development
  • Collect, analyze, and benchmark rents compared to fair market value, and occupancy costs overall

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent
  • Any previous working experience in the retail world will be considered a plus
  • Fluent in English, second language a plus
  • Numerical skills, organized and detail orientated
  • Interest within retail/fashion industry
  • Innovative and creative to continuously improve
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
