Position

We are looking for a passionate and goal-driven Senior Social Media Specialist to develop and maintain a strong online presence for the company on all owned social media channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the brand through social media platforms with content that brings to life the brand image, company values and key campaigns for the lines GUESS, Marciano and GUESS kids.
  • Development of social media strategies across various digital channels aligned with the brand positioning.
  • Drive brand awareness, brand affinity and engagement by delivering the right message to the right audiences through the right social platform.
  • Analyze post performance and analytics to gauge performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team and content creative team to ensure assets are aligned with the marketing calendar and product availability online/instore.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure an accurate dialogue online between the brand and its customers.
  • Work closely with the team in US for the planning and execution of the social media calendar for all digital platforms.
  • Keep your pulse on emerging digital trends and propose ideas how to integrate on GUESS’ social media platforms.
  • Identifying and apply insights to create more relevant consumer content and digital experiences.
  • Engaging the team with new content innovations and ideas, participate in brainstorms and ideate new social media initiatives including concepts for Tik Tok, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Assist in creating content that meets business objectives, raising awareness, engaging audiences and driving conversions in collaboration with other members of the Marketing team.
  • Responsible for regular update send outs to key stakeholders regarding the progress of all social media channels and initiatives as well as digital insights and social media trends.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent, preferably in business/digital marketing.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Professional experience in social media management ideally within fashion.
  • You have an international mindset and ability to think outside the box.
  • You’re social media savvy with knowledge of social media tools and deep understanding and point of view on social media trends.
  • A good understanding of the power of storytelling as a marketing tool and the importance of brand consistency.
  • You’re a passionate and highly ambitious self-starter with the ability to multitask.
  • You have excellent time management and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Forward-thinking with an ability to develop communication strategies that are innovative, impactful and provide value.
  • You’re a team player who can work independently within a multi-cultural team across multiple geographic locations.
  • You have strong copywriting and editing skills suited to each platform with the ability to adapt tone of voice to suit the different product lines and digital channels.
  • You have a passion for fashion and social media, with a comprehensive understanding of Instagram, Youtube and TikTok.
