PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and enterprising talent to join our HR team!

The Senior Talent Development will support the Company in providing strategy and expertise for the implementation of the overall Talent strategy along the entire employee lifecycle in order to develop, engage and retain European Guess employees. The purpose of the role will be that of fostering personal and business performance while at the same time promoting an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the implementation and design of Talent Management and Development programs, in line with Guess values and business strategies;
  • Ensure the development of a culture of performance and development based on key Competencies, aligned with Guess Values and including key pillars of Diversity & Inclusion, acting as a key partner in the D&I culture development and programs implementation;
  • Restructure and drive employees' Performance Assessment and Goal Setting process, as well as all Talent Management processes – align planning with business goals and strategic objectives, ensuring proper project management from design to follow-up, redesigning process and tools when necessary;
  • Build processes designed for the early identification of the next generation of high potential talents and key successors; plan strategies for potential development, retention, and empowerment, as well as ensure succession plans are in place and followed up;
  • Ensure the design of programs and initiatives aimed at developing managers at all levels and shaping the management culture;
  • Work closely with HR BPs to ensure all Talent Management & Development programs are effectively carried out and followed up, as well as in ensuring a two ways approach in exchanging inputs and information to improve the effectiveness of all development programs.
  • Work in close cooperation with all other HR Departments, such as Talent Acquisition, Training, Controlling, etc., with a spirit of teamwork, mutual support, and common growth;
  • Promote and foster a culture based on empowerment, development, growth, accountability, and ownership;
  • Identify, track, analyze and build improvements upon key metrics for all Talent and Development programs.
  • Analyze current tools & systems for people development and proactively propose new solutions to better manage all Talent projects in the Company;
  • Serve as key liaison with all Head of Departments and Countries’ Leadership Teams, as well as a key partner for all management levels, driving central initiatives into the European scope.


Anforderungsprofil

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Psychology, Human Resources, or equivalent qualifications;
  • At least 5 years of previous related experience in HR, Talent, and Development fields;
  • Strong English language skills, all other languages will be considered a plus;
  • Understanding of performance management/succession planning/development programs and methodologies;
  • Demonstrated ability in HR Talent Development strategy using knowledge of the organization and its employees;
  • Knowledge of Talent Management platforms and tools;
  • Ability to support and coach senior leaders when appropriate;
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organization, and change management skills;
  • Ability to present information in a clear manner and respond to questions
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, flexible and dynamic environment;
  • Hands-on mentality with a positive forward-looking attitude;
  • Strong team player, while able to work independently;
  • Focused on innovative HR solutions and process improvement;
  • Well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines, and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
