PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting directly to the Showroom Manager for Apparel, Accessories & FTW lines, the Sales Associate represents the company operating efficiently on a daily basis, achieving excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals. To be responsible for generating leads and dealing with any customer questions, is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services and policies. To have a deep understanding of the sales process, dynamics and to stay up to date with product features and maintain Guess stores visual appearance in high standards.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To participate to collection merchandising meetings for Guess Jeans, Marciano, Kids, Underwear, Footwear, Handbags lines in order to focus on the proper product mix, identifying key items and best sellers for all lines
- Giving sales presentations to the actual and prospective clients, introducing marketing initiatives and sales opportunities, assisting customers to select appropriate merchandise and place orders according to the right product mix and sales policies
- Client hospitality, superior product knowledge, improving engagement with merchandise, cross selling products and providing outstanding customer service
- To monitor the arrival of sample-sets, maintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor in accordance to the brand image and the internal showroom guidelines
- To assist the store openings from a product point of view, increasing in store sales
- Sell in and sell through analysis, preparing daily sales reports and collection feedbacks
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction though excellent sales service
- Coordinate with the commercial department for budgeting, sales and project activities
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
- Day by day client relationships, building and ensuring long-term partnership
- Promote high quality retailing standards and best practice
