Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB


Reporting directly to the General Ledger Director, the Subsidiaries General Ledger will deal with all the activities related to accounting.



CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Managing General Ledger for European Legal Entities
  • Monthly accounting closing process and preparation of requested SOX documentation
  • Ensure items are processed in an accurate and timely manner following Local Gaap and Us Gaap principles
  • Overview on AR and AP cycle assuring no issue are incurring
  • Monthly reconciles and ensures the accuracy of general ledger accounts
  • Ensure all working practices are compiled and ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensure that all bookings are aligned with Company policies and procedures
  • Liaise with internal departments and external customers to solve any issues in an efficient and effective manner
  • Interface with local consultant for local compliance and local TAX payments
  • Direct and Indirect TAX compliance
  • Closing annual Statutory reports
  • Managing annual Audit based on local requirement and preparing the related documentation
  • Various and ad hoc reporting for the management

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Education: High School graduation in accounting or similar
  • Experience: at least 3 years in a similar position
  • Language skills: fluent English, any other language is a plus
  • Flexibility, Commitment and self-motivation
  • Advanced excel knowledge required
  • Ability to understand and analyze problems in a short time frame and strong interpersonal and project management skills
