Mission

The Visual Merchandiser will support the colleagues in the Stores with the visual merchandising activities ensuring that all Standards and Guidelines are meet in alignment with the company Standards.

The Visual Merchandiser will be hired by the HQ based in Stabio, but the place of work will be around all the Guess Stores in Switzerland (Bern, Zurich, Basel, Luzern, Geneva, etc).


What you will be doing


  • Coordinate the product Rotation Program in the Stores
  • Planning the store visit and staff training
  • Participate in and support the success of store openings
  • Participate in internal visual merchandising training sessions, workshops
  • Work on Line openings and visual merchandising activities in the HQ – upon request
  • Support during fashion shows and corporate events – upon request

Anforderungsprofil

What we’re looking for


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a specific Visual Merchandising certification would be considered a plus
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)
  • At least 2/3 years’ experience in the same role and field (an itinerant visual merchandising experience in the fashion field)
  • Proven track record in retail channel
  • Fashion eye with commercial awareness
  • Strong aesthetic, visual design, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and committed to the job assigned
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and follow-up
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude, team player, ability to work independently
  • High results orientation, bias toward action, and a strong operational background
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff, and external contacts
  • Availability to travel around Switzerland
  • Fluent English is essential for this role, German will be preferred
