Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Woman's Footwear Product Manager is responsible for managing the product development process of the specific product category by working closely with the designers, the R&D Team, Licensees and factories to develop each category from initial concept to finished product. The role also includes to develop prototypes and products consistent with the brand DNA and company’s overall strategies and goals.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the development of Footwear categories following the development calendar and price targets.
  • Constant proposal of innovative product related solutions and new products

ACTIVITIES

  • Support all the collection phases: design research and sketches, proto review and final edit. Take part to the pricing activities.
  • Work closely with designers, offering qualitative solutions to meet stylistic and productive needs.
  • Interaction with Operations Team in order to meet the most important KPI objectives as IMU and time-to-market
  • Interaction with the Business Intelligence Team in order to develop products that meet the business goals and market needs
  • Work with the licensees, external consultants and vendors in order that products are developed according to the brief specs. Daily follow up the collection development.
  • Interact with raw material suppliers and manufacturers to source and develop appropriate products and components. Be proactive on researching and proposing new suppliers in order to meet the product expectations.
  • Edit and confirm technical sheets and material records
  • Manage the seasonal development calendar and make sure the deadlines are respected
  • Own and coordinate the fitting test, manage the pre-production samples process and communications of corrections to the vendors in order to set up the production.

Requirements


  • 3-4 years of experience in the role. Knowledge of accessories/footwear industry
  • Excellent Office Package knowledge, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • 3D software knowledge is a plus
